Meet Gabbie

A Gift of Gabbie has always been about the way I live, in the kitchen, at the table, and with the people I love most.

I was raised in a Chicago restaurant family where food was never casual. Steak is sacred, service matters, and butter is NEVER something to apologize for. Some of my earliest memories are of dining rooms humming at night and the quiet pride that comes from feeding people well.

I officially joined our family businesses in 2014 when my oldest was 4-years old, but the rhythm of hospitality was always there. It shaped how I cook, how I host, and how I run my home.

Now I am a mother of four kids from 15 to 1, and most of my days revolve around my own kitchen. I cook almost everything from scratch. I bake bread every week. I care deeply about ingredients, about balance, about raising children who understand that real food takes time and love. We eat light when it makes sense, and we splurge when it’s worth it. Parmigiano-Reggiano is still a national treasure in this house.

You’ll find wholesome recipes here, Italian comfort foods, simple weeknight dinners, and the occasional indulgence that makes life fun. I believe in balance, and I believe in feeding people with wholesome ingredients.

This is simply my table, and you are always welcome at it.
